Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able teach mathematics in the primary school. Student will understand the methods and forms mathematical education with pupils with dysabilities.
Syllabus
  • Disorders connected to content of teaching matter of mathematics, to understanding of abstract mathematical concepts, to working methods, to non-respecting of pupils individual characteristics. Dyscalculia, content of teaching matter in arithmetic and geometry at 1st level of special schools, introduction to some issues aiding understanding of mathematical concept.
