Course objectives
Current development of special education,the system of care for people with disabilities, comparison with situation abroad, integration, legislation. Basic terminology, methods and assessment in special education. Etiology, classification of disabilities, therapy, education in primary schools. Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education. Overview of special schools and institutions for individual health disabilities. Prevention, counselling and pedagogy diagnosis. Upon successful completion of this course the student will be   prepared for successful execution of the final state examination from   ISE, can interpret theoretical knowledge of integrative   Special Education, charged on the basis of knowledge can suggest a special pedagogical care   children and pupils with special educational needs, can design collaboration s ~   experts and specialized equipment. Can apply their acquired knowledge in the performance of assistant teacher.

Teaching methods
The course takes place at the level of theoretical training. The seminars also run an interactive discussion on the subject, monitoring the film documents relating to the solved problems, or teaching is accompanied by a lecture to practitioners.
Assessment methods
The successful completion of this course must successfully meet final written test (test contains 60 questions - 100 %, for the successful completion of the test is necessary 70 % correct answers).
