Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: explain the basic overview of the history of   land transport means and conditions of land transport explain the organization of transport systems in     CR and abroad, and compare the pros and cons of various systems. Reasons for the characteristics of contemporary traffic engineering.
Syllabus
  • The history of road transport and transport equipment. Czech and global transport industry in terms of history. Restaurátorství historic vehicles. Shipping. General problems of organization of transport. Land transport systems in the Czech Republic and abroad, compare. Sustainable land transport, and its borders. Contemporary technical and electronic systems to optimize performance vehicles. Active and passive vehicle safety. Design of vehicles as a factor of safety, functionality and aesthetics. The possibility of design in the context of new materials. Contemporary design trends and their holders.

Elaboration of project in the range of 15-20 ten hundred typefaces theme selected for 1: - The history of road transport and transport equipment, especially with regard to the Czech automotive industry - Options, and the importance of preservation of historical documentation, such as transport of cultural monuments and study the sources of business, vehicles and transport policy (technical and promotional graphics, promotional literature) - Contemporary technical and electronic systems that enhance the operating characteristics and active and passive safety of vehicles
