Course objectives
Main ohjectives can be summarized as follows:
to elaborate topics from educational psychology lectures;
to analyze simple problems of student and teachers in education (individual projects, papers);
to understand basic terms and theories.
Syllabus
  • 1. Educational psychology as a science.
  • 2. Learning (types of learning, contemporary concepts and theories).
  • 3. Learning - classical theories (history of learning experiments and research paradigms).
  • 4. Learning and motivation (aspiration, feedback, transfer etc.).
  • 5. Learning and cognitive abilities.
  • 6. Learning in the school practice.
  • 7. Academic achievment.
  • 8. Parenting, parentig styles. Beavioural problems.
  • 9. Student in the educational environment. Teacher in the educational environment.
  • 10. Educational goals and current educational reform in the (educational) psychology perspective.
