Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- Incorporate the Environmental Education into existing curricula
- Explain the difference between Ecology and Environmental
- Explain basic ecological concepts (population, community, ecosystem);
- Characterize global environmental problems; - Explain how to dispose of different types of waste;

  • 1. Environmental education in FEP. 2. Ecology and environmentalistics - basic concepts. 3. Sustainable development and his assumptions. 4. Basic ecological (biological) concepts. 5. Running of matter and energy. Protection of nature. 6. Ecology and chemismy, role of a teacher. 7. Polutants, toxicity, preventive. 8. Waste products. 9. Energy. 10. Environment generally. 11. Environment of the Czech Republic. 12. Landscape.

Teaching methods
The Form of teaching: a lesson of base type, individual work Methods of teaching: Lecture, work with literature.
Assessment methods
Assessments methods: seminar work, written test, oral debate. Final score: a) basic orientation in   issues - verification of knowledge through a test and during the discussion. In the test, it is possible to obtain 20 points. It is nescessary to obtain at least 16 points. Students which obtain 11 to 15 points must pass an oral debate. If they obtain 10 points or less, the must repeate the test. b) essay: the choice of two topics
1st regional environmental issues selected region.
2nd Methodology of environmental issues in the   subject. This theme select students who have already learned or taught. Final grade: colloquium - a) basic orientation in the problematics - verification of knowledges by test b) seminary work: students can choose two topics.
1st Regional environmental problematics of selected region with the SWOT analysis mandatory scheme: localization and definition of the region, soil characteristics, water (drinking water, waste), air, forests, agriculture, industry, waste, USES, nature protection (SPAs protected organisms), SWOT analysis, conclusions and attitude literature.
2nd Methodology of environmental issues in the subject - chose students who have already learned or taught.
