- Course objectives
- Students will learn the most important ways to manufacture engineering components. Emphasis is placed on a highly productive method used in today's modern enterprises.
- Syllabus
- Content focus: 1st Product Design and Technological 2nd Technology Operations Division (subtractive, compression, additive) 3rd Machining: drilling, turning, milling, broaching 4th Water jet cutting, laser, electro, sparking 5th Welding: arc welding, resistance welding, arc welding, plasma and laser. 6th Soldering, bonding and sealing 7th Casting: precision casting, die casting, lost wax model 8th Fitting: free, accurate and die forging 9th Injection molding plastic vacuum 10th Rapid prototyping - Rapid prototyping
