- The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the rudimentary concepts behind literary multiculturalism and its most prominent features in North America through the analysis of a number of literary works. Students participating in the course will be offered a variety of methods for text analysis suited to multicultural writing. These methods and the provided socio-cultural information on various ethnic groups composing North American society will enable students to successfully identify and spell out certain characteristics of multicultural stories.
