- Course objectives
- Interpreting Texts and Didactic Games in Literary Education. Students will get a deeper insight into the theory of didactic interpretation as the main method of the work with artistic literature. They will also develop their interpretational skills. Having met the course requirements, students will be able to modify the approaches of interpretation to be able to use them for pre-school children and design similar activities for their own teaching practice, inclusive of a play as one of the important activities in literary education.
- Syllabus
- 1. The term interpretation in historical and actual connections, scientific and didactic interpretation, individuality of artistic texts. 2. Main parts of epic and lyrical texts. 3. Complex and partial interpretative processes in the work with poetry and some prosaic genres. 4. Game as a way to understanding of artistic literature at nursery school.

- Theoretical preparation, active students´ work in the analysis of exemplary texts, solving model situations, methods of discussion.
- Assessment methods
- Completion: colloquium Requirements: written work and participation in discussion about these works. Written work: complex interpretative analysis of two artistic texts for children (prose, poetry; theme, composition and language) and the possibilities of their didactic transformation, use for partial development of aesthetical perception of pre-school children.
