Course objectives
The goal is to understand the factors that influence the distribution of power in the world, and adoption of a comprehensive view of the conflicts and problems of today's world.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to Geopolitics. German geopolitics. The Anglo-Saxon geopolitics. Current trends in geopolitics. State and nation. Options. Boundaries. Conflicts. Distribution of power in the world. Formal and informal regional groupings. Relations of State and former colonies. The influence of geographical factors on politics.
