Course objectives
At the end of the course the future foreign language teachers should to be able to plan their own teaching and to help their pupils during the language learning process. The aim of the subject is to increase knowledge in the field of theoretical and practical principles of language teaching methodology and related disciplines. The knowledge will be discussed and reflected in relation to their application in teaching practice, students acquire theoretical knowledge and teaching competences.
Syllabus
  • Besides an introduction to the subject, a method overview and explanation of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the substantive focus of the semester is on the language acquisition theories, the reading, listening and seeing (pictures in foreign language teaching).
