Course objectives
The aim of the course is to obtain basic knowledge of Ecology and Environmental Sciences at the university level. Emphasis is placed on acquiring knowledge and skills needed to teach cross-curricular topic of the environmental education at primary schools. The course includes practical problems with emphasis on the topic related to practice, nature, technical applications etc.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Basic topics of environmental issues at local and global level.
- The student is able to take concrete measures based on acquired knowledge to mitigate the negative environmental impacts of human activity and to protect himself from these unfavorable impacts
