Course objectives
The subject Evolution of French language – seminar immediately follows the subject Evolution of French language -lecture, the only comprehensive linguistic discipline throughout the Bachelor's and Master's degree, which conceives of language in diachronic terms and clearly shows and proves the system linking the individual linguistic disciplines. The aim of the subject is the practical application of the knowledge acquired in the lecture Evolution of French language. Through linguistic analysis of the short selection from medieval French literature we pursue the main linguistic characteristics (phonetic, morphological, syntactic, lexical) of studied periods.
