Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize the participants with the profiles of creative artists, whose works have arisen out of professional training. The first part of the lesson is about getting acquainted with the sources of documentation of these works, with the life stories of selected authors - psychologists and their work. Interpretation is carried out through casuistic interpretations, in which participants share the course. Particular attention will be paid to the collection of works by authors with mental disabilities and psychologists.

Syllabus
  • The lecturer acquaints listeners with book and internet resources documenting collections of art brut in the Czech Republic and abroad, and offers them, among other things, comments on their own books and magazines published in the last five years. The lesson is based on the interpretation and accessibility of Internet resources, but also on detailed interpretations of selected works of art brut artists.
