- Course objectives
- The students will learn and understand the basic principles of skiing and winter activities with a focus on health supporting physical activity in winter. They will learn to organize physical activities and games in the snow.
- Syllabus
- 1. Safety, first aid and principles of good conduct in winter nature and on skiing slopes.
- 2-8. Practical part. Methodology of the basics of downhill movement and turning on skis adapted for younger school-aged children with respect to their physical skills.
- 9-11. Health supporting physical activity and games in the snow (downhill movement and turning on a sledge, snow tubing, snow sculpting, building igloos, physical games in the snow).
