Course objectives
The aim is to deepen and broaden general knowledges of Russian culture in relation to the study of the language, strengthen the ability to understand spoken Russian, improve the ability to express their views in Russian.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course: The student knows the basic phenomena of Russian culture and history, can describe the political system and geographic peculiarities of the Russian Federation, objects of applied art, the differences between Orthodoxy and Catholicism. The student is able to find the information, texts and videos on RuNet and functionally use them. The student is able to verbally and in writing to answer questions from the circle of covered topics.

Teaching methods
Seminar. Discussions, presentations in Russian.
Assessment methods
Attendance 80% (two absence are tolerated). During the course every student shall prepare a presentation (in Russian) on a prearranged topic of your interest, which is inserted into the Homework Vaults. Evaluate the quality of information and the correct pronunciation, intonation and vocabulary.
