Course objectives
At the end of the course the student will be acknowledged with basic principles of qualitative and quantitative research, their techniques and main objectives for the use of these techniques in students own researches. They will understand the basic principles of induction or deduction and basic concepts of science research such as theory, operationalization, hypothesis, realiability, validity, representativity and their role in research. Students will learn how to plan their own research, propose the adequate methodology, construct their research tools and to judge their applicability and debate the main obstacles or challenges they will be confonted with during the realization of their diploma research.
