Course objectives
Planning and development of a project week, which will be realized (in cooperation with Austrian students) in February (10. - 14. 2. 2020) at a Czech grammar school.
Learning outcomes
Realization of a project week for Czech grammar school students. In cooperation with Austrian students.
Syllabus
  • 1. meeting: - Theory of project-based teaching, - information about the project, - fixing of other meetings. 2. meeting: takes place in Vienna; - getting to know Austrian students, - first draft of the program for the project week. 3. meeting: in January 2020: - detailed planning of the project week in close cooperation with Austrian students, - visit of the czech grammar school. Date of the project week: 10. - 14. 2. 2020!!! In March, a final working meeting will be held in Vienna to evaluate the project.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation, 2 x work meetings in Vienna (November 2019, March 2020) 2 x working meetings in the Czech Republic (January 2019 in Brno, February at a Czech grammar school)
Assessment methods
- Active participation in the whole project (including ALL meetings in Vienna), - implementation of the project at the Czech Gymnasium, - written report on the project.

The course can also be completed outside the examination period.
The course is taught annually.
General note: Součástí výuky je výjezd do Rakouska a realizace projektového týdne na české škole. Po dohodě supluje praxi. Projekt financuje AKTION ÖSTERREICH-TSCHECHISCHE REPULIK. Souhlas pro přihlášení do předmětu je z důvodu omezené kapacity kurzu.
