- Course objectives
- Students will understand the basic practical aspects of foreign language teaching at primary or lower-secondary schools. They will identify factors that influence the effectiveness of the process of language teaching at primary and lower secondary schools.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will:
raise their awareness of the culture of the school
make themselves familiar with the foreign language policy of the school
observe and evaluate English lessons - Syllabus
- Students are expected to observe the teaching process, assist the teachers wherever possible and shadow a teacher´s work for one week. In their reflective diary they keep notes and reflections.

- Students are expected to keep records from the observations on a daily basis.The format of the records is left at the students' discretion. The records will be signed by the school teacher(s). One signature for all lessons is sufficient. The students will write an essay about their school experience and submit it to their language teacher.
