- Course objectives
- The students will be able to diagnose the technique of various physical skills and design exercises for improvement. They will be able to organize and suitably include physical games as required in various parts of physical education. The aim is to: -Introduce the students to various worm-up motivations -Introduce the student to methods a practice of worm up
- Learning outcomes
- The students will be able to understand, explain and use the knowledge of physical education in the area of athletic and gymnastics. They will be able to use the knowledge and skills in the development of physical skills of younger school-aged children. -The student is able to present respectively motivated worm up -The student is able to present the set of exercises and organise the worm up.
- Syllabus
- 1. Basics of safety and hygiene in athletic and gymnastics training, structure of warm-up. Basic terms relating to running, jumping and throwing. Methodological and technical principles of the running alphabet. Basic terminology.
- 2. Preparatory exercises and games for the development of running speed, endurance, take-off strength and nimbleness.
- 3. Technique and methodology of running.
- 4. Technique and methodology of jumping.
- 5. Technique and methodology of throwing.
- 6. Basic starting commands and signals, training of various types of starts. Equipment used for measuring performance, methods of measuring and recording achievements, basic rules of various disciplines.
- 7. Health aspects and inclusion of motivation during exercise.
- 8.Physical activity with an emphasis on good posture.
- 9. Exercise without apparatus.
- 10. Exercise with apparatus.
- 11. Exercises with additional apparatus.
- 12. Modern physical activity accompanied by music or narration or unaccompanied.
