- Course objectives
- The subject aim is to gain basic theoretical knowledge about preschool education in the Czech Republic and in countries of Erasmus students. Students get information and experience from real czech public kindergarten (students are supposed to visit a kindergarten).
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student should be able to: Understand and explain system of the Czech preprimary education and systems of forein contries; understand the conditions of Czech public preschool education and conditions of forein preschool education; compare approaches of Czech preschool education and system of education in student’s country.
- Syllabus
- Syllabus of Preprimary education is divided into seven topics: 1. Changes in preschool educational curriculum in the Czech Republic and other forein countries, 2. System of early education and care in the Czech Republic and other forein countries 3. National framework for preschool education (philosophy, structure) 4. Work with children from socially disadvantaged environment 5. Cooperation between kindergarten and parents 6. Play as the starting point in preschool education 7. Teachers' competences and their professional development
