- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to give the students knowledge of psychology of health, resistance and resilience, especially from the point of view of ontogenetic psychology. Problems of resilience in the development and solution of difficult life situations will be addressed.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will: * know the basics of resilience theory and resilience psychology, * Know the practical application of coping strategies in education and personal growth.
- Syllabus
- Main themes (syllabus): 1. Introduction, definition, content of the subject. 2. Issues of Developmental Psychology and Health Psychology, 3. Critical and Sensitive Period, Developmental Tasks and Crisis (Erikson). 4. The concept of psychological deprivation in childhood (Langmeier and Matějček). 5. Motivation, Aspiration, Relationship to Authority. 6. Social inclusion. 7. The temperament of the child and its influence on thinking and acting. 8. Resilience issues. 9. Resilience development. 10. Coping strategies. 11. Stress, fatigue. 12. The burn-out syndrome.
