Assessment methods
For successful completion of the course it is necessary to complete:
- written tests in the answer-sheets (odpovedniky) of IS MU during the semester (students will find out the details directly in the seminar at the beginning of the term);
- 80% active participation in seminars;
- once a week you put in a folder a proof of your progress in the study of word formation (primary), lexicology (secondary) (it is enough to devote an intensive 15-30 min. to this task, look for your own strategies to memorize the required syllabus of word formation knowledge);
- a short written test as a prerequisite for an oral exam and achieve a min. 80  % of total points;
- pass an oral exam that follows the same day after the written test;

- voluntary task: present a portfolio with materials from the seminar (or lectures) by the occasion of the oral exam;
- optional task (which can earn you a bonus 6,67 % (1 point out of 15) for the written test, in case you missed it by one point...): your own preparation for one lesson at primary school (the preparation has to be handed in before the actual test, the preparation is based on the E-U-R model and deals with any word-formation topic that is useful for teaching at primary school).
