Communicative skills and knowledge of the language systems (grammar, vocabulary, spelling and pronunciation) on B2 level.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to help students prepare for the upcoming Complex exam which tests their communicative competence in English at B2 (upper-intermediate) level in the form of a written test and oral examination. Students will practise the test taking skills and will be introduced to the particular parts of the complex exam test, i.e. cloze test, word formation and sentence tranformation, and listening and reading comprehension tests.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course students will have - understood and practised multiple times the particular format of the Complex exam test focusing on its individual parts (cloze test, word formation, sentence transformation and listening and reading comprehension); - understood and practised for the oral part of the exam (spoken production and spoken interaction); - taken a mock test.

Students will successfully complete all materials in their moodle course, which can be accessed repeatedly, will take active part in class and will sit for the mock test.
