- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to understand the Competence Framework of a graduate teacher, to improve the quality of one's own preparation for the profession of teacher of the Russian language in elementary schools. The subject is also aimed at the ability to recognize, describe and implement the professional competences needed for teaching Russian and serving to create a high-quality profile of a Russian teacher graduate.
- Learning outcomes
- The student teacher will orientate himself in the requirements for the quality of teaching at elementary/secondary schools and in activities directly related to teaching, distinguish between desirable and undesirable actions during the preparation, implementation and evaluation of teaching. He will be able to assess the state of professional competences necessary for planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching. He will be able to reflect on his professional progress during teaching practices and systematically improve the level of his professional competences. It will co-create a shared understanding of what quality teaching is and will unite the actors involved in the undergraduate training of future teachers.
- Syllabus
- 1. Areas of professional competences of a teacher graduate (Russian language). The use of competence models in the teaching of Russian. Summary of practical experience. 2. Didactic mediation of the content of teaching Russian to pupils in accordance with their educational needs. 3. Russian language and literature: content and criteria of knowledge of the field Principles and methods of teaching Russian language and literature to primary school pupils. 4. Setting the teaching goals, the schedule for their fulfillment, methods and means of achieving them and (self) reflection. Formulation and realization of students' own goals. 5. Learning and creating an environment for teaching within the entire system of (school) education, in the environment of the school, classroom and other (out-of-school) space. 6. Planning the teaching of Russian in elementary school. Conducting and reflecting on the teaching of Russian in elementary school. 7. Summative and formative assessment, taking into account the individual progress of pupils, providing feedback. Setting criteria for assessment and supporting self-assessment and peer assessment of one's own learning. 8. Criteria and principles of assessment of learning Russian at elementary school. 9. Cooperation with colleagues for the benefit of pupils and support of joint professional growth. Interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary, professional and professional cooperation. Cooperation with parents. 10. Self-concept in the role of a Russian teacher. Work on your professional development and growth. Determining the development goal and maximizing the positive impact on the learning of your pupils in the teaching of Russian. 11. Professional development of the teacher, ethics and suffocation of health. 12. Own (self) reflection on preparation for the teaching profession. Acquired competencies of a Russian teacher.
