- Course objectives
- The main emphasis of the course is on systematizing and expanding the knowledge of Russian grammar and applying this knowledge in practical language. The emphasis is also placed on the grammatical parallels and differences between Russian and Czech.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, the student will be able to explain important differences in selected grammatical phenomena in Russian and Czech.
- Syllabus
- 1. Negative sentence. Subject in 4th and 2nd case. Change in the case of nouns.
- 2. Negative sentence. Spelling of the particles "не" and "ни" with nouns, adjectives and verbs.
- 3. Constructions with negative and indefinite pronouns. Spelling of negative and indefinite pronouns.
- 4. Existential sentences. Constructions with the verb "there is", with an unexpressed subject.
- 5. Expression of the semantic subject by indirect falls. Differences between Russian and Czech.
- 6. Summary and repetition.
