Course objectives
The aim of the course "Psychohygiene through Expressive Techniques" is to provide students with a space for personal, social and psychological development through expressive techniques based on music, visual and dramatic arts. The course focuses on the practical use of games, exercises and various techniques to improve psychological well-being, develop communication and self-knowledge. Among other things, learners will acquire skills to help them manage stress and find balance in everyday situations. Through personal experience and acquired skills, learners will understand the importance of the topic of psychological hygiene and will be able to apply basic psychological hygiene techniques in everyday life and when working with different target groups.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Use various expressive techniques for their own psychological hygiene. - To share their experiences and listen to others. - Develop and support their communication skills - listening, presentation. - Work effectively in a group. - Reflect on personal experiences and psychological experiences. - Understand individual mental health needs. - Understand the importance of psychological hygiene in everyday life when working with different groups. - Apply basic psychological hygiene techniques in everyday life and in working with different target groups.
Syllabus
  • Basis: 1. Introduction, group activities, definition of expressive techniques and their potential in personality development and psychological well-being. 2. Dramatic techniques 1 - group dynamics, trust, listening, respect, belonging, communication 3. Dramatic techniques 2 -self-awareness, perception of oneself and one's needs in the context of psychohygiene, authenticity of expression 4. Art techniques - development of creativity 5. Musical techniques- listening to self and others 6. Dance and movement techniques - relaxation techniques and breathing exercises 7. Creative writing as a means of self-reflection 8. Improvisation in a group - group improvisation techniques 9. Playback Theatre Techniques 1 - introduction, the importance of stories, personal story and the nature of sharing 10. Playback Theatre Techniques 2 - listening to the stories of others and understanding the emotions and feelings they carry. 11. Forum Theatre 1 - introduction, personal stories in a social context 12. Theatre Forum 2 - empowerment through alternative action in conflict situations, preparation 13. Final reflection and evaluation of the personal development
