Course objectives
The goal of this course is to teach students these topics: education of students with moderate, severe and profound disorders of intellectual development and autism spectrum disorders, diagnostics, education and upbringing of persons with moderate, severe, and profound disorders of intellectual development and ASD, special counselling centres, a special methodology of teaching, alternative forms of communication, pre-professional and professional preparation, legislation, social services, charity and non-state organizations.
Learning outcomes
Students can define moderate, severe and profound disorders of intellectual development and autism spectrum disorders. They can specify the educational system, methodology and didactics of teaching, and educational programmes.
