Prerequisites
The main objectives of the course is in popular form acquaint students with basic knowledge concerning of Space, Solar system, planets and the Earth. A part of the lecture is pursued to fundamentals of astronomy, both theoretical and practical (exercises,observation).

Syllabus
  • 1.Fundamentals of Cosmology (Big Bang,stars of first generation, origin of galaxies and planets, extinction of stars, live in Space) 2.Structure of Space (galaxies, motion of galaxies, Milky way, Solar system) 3.Solar system (basic parameters, planets, the Sun) 4.Fundamentals of astronomy (history, observation,phenomena on the Sky) 5.Examples, observation (Observatory of M.Kopernicus, Brno)
