Course objectives
This course is intended to provide teacher trainees with the independence and confidence to design their own materials, their own lessons and their own courses so that they can address the specific needs of their students in accordance with their own views concerning language acquisition and language itself.
Syllabus
  • An overview of language acquisition, English for Specific Purposes, needs analysis, learning styles, time management, holistic and atomistic approaches, the product - process dichotomy, the lexical approach.
