Course objectives
The subject deals with teaching pronunciation, teaching grammar and teaching vocabulary to 10-15 year-old students. It offers suitable teaching techniques and attitudes.
Syllabus
  • Teaching English pronunciation Pronunciation goals, building awareness and concern for pronunciation Word stress, rhythm, intonation, sentence stress Teaching grammar Verb tenses Conditional, modal verbs Prepositions and phrasal verbs, gerunds, infinitives Reported speech, indirect questions, adverbs. Teaching vocabulary Focussing on form focussing on meaning Teaching practice Teaching practice
