- Course objectives
- Each student is required to write one seminar work. Students are supposed to chose one of the courses taught this term and write their seminar work according to the requirements specified by individual teachers, i.e. Mrs. Oaklandová (Phonetics), Mr. Němec (Practical Language) and Mrs. Jančaříková (Grammar).
- Syllabus
- GRAMMAR: Students are expected to produce a well-structured work (at upper-intermediate level) reflecting their ability to analyze and evaluate the assigned material from the point of view of a user and a teacher. PRACTICAL LANGUAGE: Students should produce a well written essay dealing with the structural analyses of an English work (novel, poem, song, script, ...) translated into Czech. Special attention to be paid especially to all the differences, possible mistake and collocations.

- GRAMMAR: the credit will be awarded if the work meets the specified requirements. PRACTICAL LANGUAGE: the credit will be awarded if the work meets the specified requirements.
