Course objectives
Extended summary of graphic technologies and practical tasks in more sophisticated print technics.Lessons wil be focussed on research of technological and artistic options with the prospect of individual creation.Creative work on the selected theme by various processing methods.
Syllabus
  • Processing of plate in a variety ways of intaglio printing (accid processes, mezzotint, engraving). Various forms of lithography and screen printing works.

Teaching methods
Lesson has a form of work in graphic workshop on a selected project, whose formal part will be specified in the first lesson. In this lesson students will get also written information about the subject, especially detailed requests for getting a credit.
Assessment methods
Basic condition for credit is handover of all tasks in acceptable creative and skilled quality, including documentation of design stage.
Next requests: active participation on lessons and minimum 5 consultations during semester, especially in sketch phases of lessons.
