Course objectives
Practice and fixation of printing and writing form of Russian alphabet, pronunciation, and intonation. Improvement of reading and listening skills, and basic oral and written expression. Introduction to new lexical stock and basics of Russian grammar. Work with audio and video tapes.

  • Textbook "Ruština nejen pro samouky" (lessons 15 - 21) Topics: Daily Programme. Do you speak Russian? Foreign languages. Family. Grammar: Nouns. Reflexive Verbs. Past Tense. Polite Forms. Cardinal Numerals (20-200) Spelling exercises. Complementary materials - "Davay" (selected texts).

Teaching methods
Students work up homework and within an individual work they elaborate lexical excercises and essays during the study. Students work individually and they also cooperate in group projects. They continuously read Russian texts.
Assessment methods
Written tests and oral exam. Credit course, active participation, homeworks.
