The study trip is primarily for students at the master's degree courses. If there are free places, all other students can also participate. Minimum of participants: 10 Maximum of participants: 12

Course objectives
The first part of the project-course will take place at Vienna (from the 4th of april till the 7th of april 2011). During the stay at Vienna, we will visit important institutions and we will get familiar with materials of reading methods and concepts in the Austrian school system. We will also discuss didactic and methodic aspects of reading and text comprehension in German as a foreign language. The second practical part of the project-course will take place at Brno (from the 2nd may till the 4th may). Own didactic concepts and exercices for the training of reading competence in German as a foreign language will bei create and proved during a "Lesefest" organised for Czech pupils.
Syllabus
  • Visit of relevant institutions, courses and experts. Inputs, talks and discussions, practical didactic work, organisation of a "Lesefest" for Czech pupils of German as a foreign language.
