Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to contribute to adoption of ecologically favourable postures of students to the environment and their environmental competences, to acquaint them with the methodology of Environmental Education, to enable them to present their personal approaches and opinions, to deepen their consciousness about ecological-ethical bases of Environmental Education. On the principals of "sustainable development" Environmental Education emphasises axiological aspects and personal development of students.
Syllabus
  • Methods and forms of ecopedagogical work on the children of lower classes of elementary school. Didactic recommendations for ecopedagogical practice in school and out-of-school education. Ecologically positive attitudes to life in everyday teaching practice. The roles and possibilities of an environmental education coordinator, education and education of the public in elementary school and in school nursery in accordance with the Local Agenda 21. Games, creative activities teaching aids and literature with ecological and environmental topics. Ecopedagogical approaches to selected global problems of the environment. Representative democracy and environmental topics in municipal politics. Ecological impact and ecological luxury in the programme of elementary school, Fair Trade, NATURA21.
