Course objectives
The main objective of this course is to introduce andragogical work with individuals in senior age. At the end of the course students should be able to: The studets shall understand the important problematic situations of seniors with and without disabilities and learn methods of andragogical work focusing on enhancing the quality of life these individuals.

  • Qality of life of individuals in senior age
  • Personality of individuals in senior age
  • Andragogical work with lonely individuals
  • Andragogical work with individuals with dementia
  • Andragogical work with individuals with severe and long term illness
  • Andragogical work with individuals abusing substances in senior age
  • Andragogical work with individuals in terminal stages of their illness
  • Residential, out-patient, and home care, help and support (specificity of concrete institutions)
