Course objectives
After successful completion of this course the student will - be familiar with basic terminology related to the field of alternative and augmentative communication - be able to communicate by using Pictograms - become knowledgeable about basic of Makaton and Symbol in the speech. - be able to choose suitable form of alternative and augmentative communication for person with communication disorder
Syllabus
  • Communication – verbal, nonvebral. Communication process Alternative and augmentative communication Static systems, dynamic systems. Selection and application of AAK. Basic character inventory of Makaton and Symbol in the speech.
