  • The profession of a teacher in Czech educational context.
  • Teacher education: basic conceptions in the world, situation in the Czech Republic.
  • The Bolognia process and conceptions of teacher education.
  • The teacher and teacher education as an object of research.
  • Trends in teacher education research.
  • Teacher professional competence and knowledge.
  • Pedagogical content knowledge.
  • Teacher subjective philosophy and professional thinking.
