Prerequisites
Good orientation in the field of study Psychopeadia in the range of state final exams after bachelor studies, knowledge of the system of education of pupils with moderate, severe and profound mental retardation and multi handicaps.

Course objectives
The goal of this course is to obtain information on:
Education of individuals with intellecual disability, diagnostics, moderate, severe and profound mental retardation, education and upbringing of persons with mild mental retardation, system of schools, special educational centres, special metodology, alternative forms of communication, pre-professional and professional work with peope with mental impairment, legislation, social services, charity and non-state organizations. Metodology of teaching. Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain intellectual disability, especially mild mental retardation; work with information on eucation of this group of students; make reasoned decisions about placing child into the school system

Lectures - 4 hours, active participation of students in class.

Written exam and active participation, written test with 30 questions for checking previously acquired knowledge.
