Course objectives
The aim of the course can create a coherent picture of the interconnection of different parts of the basic physics course.
Syllabus
  • 1.Experiment as a tool for physical education. 2.The development of classical physics - mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, vibrations and waves, optics, atomic physics. 3.The development of classical physics to relativistic non-quantum image of nature. 4.The evolution of physics to quantum image of nature.

Teaching methods
The Lecture with elements of Seminary, consultations, solving physical problems
Assessment methods
1. attendance at lectures and consultations, 2. least two successful presentarions during the semester, 3. set of processed physical problems, 4. colloquium - debate in the narrow circle of two to three students on a selected topic. The starting point for the debate will be solution of physical problems. The assessment includes dedication and activity of students and formulation of their responses.
