Course objectives
To acquaint students with contemporary Russia: geography, culture, architecture, customs and mentality of the population. Furthermore, to develop language skills and speaking skills. Students concurrently develop their language skills in listening and reading Russian film, music, texts from the Internet. The course is provide students with basic knowledge of Russian life, to bring relevant information to the geographic, cultural and political.

  • The content of the subject was included in the following topics: 1. Painting. Museum of Russia. 2. Russian music. Folklore, classical music, original song. 3. Theatre. 4. Ballet. Djagilevovy Russian season. 5. Film. History and present of Russian and Soviet film. 6. Czech - Russian relations.

Teaching methods
Lectures. 6 hours contact ,during his studies in theoretical preparation for the test.
Assessment methods
Written test and oral examination syllabus discussed previously. Emphasis will be placed on the content, correct pronunciation and intonation. Students should be able to orientate themselves in the cultural - political life of contemporary Russia.
