- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- determine more species of cyanobacteria, algae and fungi (in comparison with Bi2BP_BHNL) representatives of the Czech Republic
- sample cyanobacteria, algae and fungi
- conserve these organisms
- use advanced knowledge of these organisms
- work with determinative literature
- known organisms suitable for teaching in elementary school - Syllabus
- 1. Introduction, literature, sample cyanobacteria, algae and fungi,conserve these organisms, work with determinative literature, make to permanent biological preparation.
- 2. Cyaonobacteria: demonstration of ecologically important species,main determination characteristics, occurrence and importance. Organisms suitable for elementary school.
- 3. Algae: Euglenophyta, Dinophyta, Cryptophyta, Heterokontophyta, Rhodophyta, Chlorophyta, Charophyta - demonstration of ecologically important species, main determination characteristics, occurrence and importance. Specias suitable for elementary school.
- 3. Fungi: Mycetozoa - observation of aethalium, Oomycota - observation and drawing several representatives, Zygomycota - observation and drawing several representatives, Ascomycota - observation and drawing several representatives,Basidiomycota - Uredinomycetes - demonstration infected plants - herbarium items, Agaricomycetes - determination. Genus and species suitable for elementary school.
