Course objectives
The seminar focuses on the students´ ability to teach the acquired knowledge and skills regarding their pronunciation to preschool children. The emphasis lies on the creative approach to the phenomenon how the students use their knowledge of the field didactics, educational strategies and psychology to prepare materials for teaching English phonetics.

Teaching pronunciation, methodological sources 2. teaching phonemic symbols 3. teachign the individual sounds 4. teaching weak forms, linking, rhythm and sentence stress 5. teaching word stress 6. Using films, poems, songs when teaching pronunciation 7. The importance of listening 10. Integrating pronnciation into teaching, using pronunciation in the framework of the currently used textbooks 11. Integrating pronunciation in the classroom environment
