Course objectives
Students will acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of personality and education of people with mental disabilities. The aim is for students to understand and explain the term mental disability in the context of the current concept of terminology in pedagogy persons with mental disabilities . Part of the course is to acquire the latest knowledge about the possibilities of education of pupils with mild mental disabilities , including joint training with intact pupils . Students should be able to present reasoned decision on the inclusion of pupils with mild mental disabilities into the educational system and to interpret his knowledge of advice and legislation.

  • 1. Education of persons with mild mental disabilities, terminology bases. 2. Legislation relating to school education of pupils with mild mental disabilities. 3. A circuit pupils with mild mental disabilities (specifics of personality, cognitive processes, variability developmental traits). 4. consultancy services for pupils with mild mental disabilities. 5. Pre-school education. Framework educational program for preschool education. Preparatory class. 6. Basic School. Framework educational program for basic education. 7. Special Education Diagnostics focused on pupils with mild mental disabilities. 8. Didactic principles, methods, forms and means of education of pupils with mild mental disabilities. 9. Position therapies in the education of pupils with mild mental disabilities. 10. High School and lifelong education for people with mild mental.
