Course objectives
On successful completion of the course student will be able to understand principles of some important technologies that are used in various fields of industrial production.
Syllabus
  • 1. Metal testing technologies.
  • 2. Machining of Metals.
  • 3. Making chips, machine tools - a knife and its geometry.
  • 4. Chipless metal processing.
  • 5. Electro physical methods of machining materials. Machining Ultrasound.
  • 6. Concentrations of materials - welding.
  • 7. Forming technology.
  • 8. Laser cutting and water jet cutting.
  • 9. Foundry technology.
