- After completing this course the student will be able to:
know the requirements for chemical composition of medical supplies;
know the physical requirements of medical supplies;
use the basic types of medical supplies;
explain the advantages and disadvantages of the use of health impact of materials and their impact on human health; - Syllabus

- prosthetic materials (prosthetic legs, hands)
- Materials used for dental fillings
- Modern medical materials:
- Titanium and its alloys
- Surgical steel and other steels
- materials for the production of bone substitutes
- the artificial skin
- materials for the manufacture of vascular grafts
- "artificial heart"
