Course objectives
The course aims to map out the connections of the British history and literature from the beginnings till the end of the 18th century. In the literary seminar students are to analyse, interpret and discuss selected works and extracts. The goal of the course is to acquaint students with chief works, authors and topics in the historical and social context of the relevant periods,will understand the British life and culture.
