Course objectives
At the end of this course students should be able to:
- understand the issues of health and illness;
- understand the link between health, living conditions and the environment;
- on the basis of acquired knowledge explain and follow healthy lifestyles (nutrition, physical activity, etc.);
- use the information for the protection of the health of children and youth;
- understand the effects of stress on health;
- use information for the protection of the population against pathogenic influences;
- explain the impact of physical activity on the healthy development of the individual.

  • Topics:
  • - health and disease;
  • - health and living conditions;
  • - a healthy way of life (nutrition, physical activity ...);
  • - health and the environment;
  • - protection of the health of children and youth;
  • - stress and its effect on health;
  • - protection population against pathogenic effects;
  • - physical activity as part of prevention.
