Course objectives
The aim of the course is to reflect upon student’s work stay. Students will present their practcice, reflect upon their skills and competences and activities and tasks they carried out during the practice. They discuss situations they encountered, methods and approaches used for target groups and plan future career options.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is able to:
- utilize theoretical knowledge in his/her practice, reflect upon his/her skills and competence;
- analyze life situations of people with special needs and work related duties and responsibilities of helping professionals;
- prepare activities for the particular target group.
Syllabus
  • Reflection of student’s activities and tasks during work stay (strengths and weaknesses, expectations and their fulfilment, prospects)
  • Sharing of experiences
  • One’s own skills and competences for practice
  • Discussion about future career options, challenges, opportunities, risks
