Course objectives
Didactics The education of the course is focused on learning how to use knowledge of common didactics and clarifying the historical education speciality. Student gain the basic knowledge about the education documents of school history a will be incapable to realize one´s own preparations for the teaching of history. Attention will also be paid to a look at the retrospective of the school subject history and selected currently solved problems of history didactics.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, the student will be able to apply didactic theory and methodological approaches to specific models of teaching history. Student gain the basic knowledge about the education documents of school history a will be incapable to realize one´s own preparations for the teaching of history. He will be able to describe the basic problems that the didactics of history deals with.

  • 1. The introduction to didactics of history, the structure and character of the discipline.
  • • 2. The development of school history in Czech lands.
  • • 3. The system of school history and his anchor in pedagogical documents.
  • • 4. The planning of history teaching.
  • • 5. Selected current issues of history didactics
